The end of 2011 has been so crazy that I haven’t had much time to think about resolutions. It’s been so consumed with moving, packing, unpacking, cleaning, organizing, trying to find some sense of normalcy and routine, plus constant job hunting that I haven’t thought much beyond “what can/will I get done today?” A week or so ago I glanced at an email sent out by the WordPress folks with some kind of blog challenge for 2012 – mentioning some pretty well-thought-out blog challenges for the new year. Though I have nothing so focused or organized as those examples to propose, I thought it might be a good to commit (or even semi-commit) myself to posting regularly, whether or not I feel like I have anything post-worthy to share. I have a feeling it will turn out to be a random hodge-podge of unrelated topics, images, formats, prose, poetry, art, craft, etc.
So…in the interest of getting started immediately: This New Year’s Day morning, I present to you the product of a growing and goofy sporadic hobby of mine: drawing stuff from life in MS Paint.
Last night we spent New Year’s Eve with my awesome cousin-in-law & some of her friends; the host had an air hockey table in his basement. It was really fun – I haven’t played in years.
